Shipping & Delivery
Shipping & Pickup – French and English Bulldogs for Sale
How is a Puppy Shipped?
1. Shipping by Airline
We offer nationwide and international shipping for our puppies. The shipping cost depends on your location and includes:
✔ Airfare
✔ Puppy’s travel crate (pet taxi)
✔ Veterinary health certificate
✔ Puppy care packet (includes a bag of the puppy’s current food and care instructions)
Puppies travel in a temperature-controlled, pressurized cabin to ensure their safety and comfort. Delivery is typically counter-to-counter service, meaning the puppy arrives at the nearest major airport for pickup.
2. Shipping by Specialized Ground Transport
For customers in the continental U.S., we offer ground transportation services. A professional Pet Transport Service can deliver your puppy directly to your doorstep.
✔ This service is more costly than air shipping.
✔ Pricing depends on distance and location.
Both methods ensure that your puppy arrives safe, comfortable, and stress-free.
Is Shipping Safe for the Puppy?
Yes! While the idea of shipping a puppy alone might sound concerning, airlines have strict regulations for pet safety and handling. We have years of experience shipping puppies, and our puppies are always well taken care of during travel.
🔹 Crate Preparation: Each puppy’s crate is lined with soft bedding and includes a toy or a sock with our scent to provide comfort.
🔹 Food & Water: Frozen water is placed in the crate to gradually thaw, ensuring hydration. Feeding instructions are taped to the crate.
🔹 Tracking & Monitoring: We carefully monitor all flights, including layovers, to ensure your puppy arrives on time and safely.
Puppies typically arrive the same day they are shipped, within 4 to 7 hours of departure.
What About Shipping in Winter or Summer?
We guarantee your puppy will arrive safe and sound, regardless of the season.
✔ Temperature Regulations: Airlines ship puppies only when temperatures are between 20°F and 85°F. The plane’s cargo area is temperature-controlled at 70°F, just like the passenger cabin.
✔ Strict Airline Policies: If the weather is too hot or too cold, airlines will delay the shipment until conditions are safer.
✔ Temperature-Controlled Crates: Some shippers use electronic temperature-regulated crates for added safety.
If there are any weather-related delays, we will reschedule shipping for the next best time to ensure your puppy’s safety.
Can I Travel to Pick Up My Puppy?
Yes! You are always welcome to visit us in person and pick up your puppy directly.
✈ Most airlines allow small puppies to travel in the cabin with you at no extra charge, though some airlines may have an additional pet fee.
🚗 If traveling by car, we recommend bringing a puppy carrier, water, and a blanket for comfort.
Does My Puppy Need Vaccines After Pickup?
🚨 Do NOT vaccinate your puppy within the first 14 days of arrival! 🚨
Your puppy is already up to date on vaccinations before leaving our home. Giving additional vaccines too soon can stress the puppy’s immune system.
However, within 48 hours of pickup, you must take your puppy for a veterinary check-up to confirm their health.
✔ If any health issues arise, we will replace the puppy or offer a refund if no replacement is available.
Which Vet Should I Use?
We recommend choosing a trusted, well-reviewed veterinarian in your area.
🐶 Small-town vets are often more affordable and have great reputations since word of mouth spreads quickly in smaller communities.
🔍 Read online reviews to find a vet with positive customer experiences in your area.
At French and English Bulldogs for Sale, our top priority is ensuring a smooth transition for your puppy into their new home. If you have any questions about shipping, travel, or vet care, we are always here to help!
